CAKE CUTTING GUIDE

for non-doweled cakes

1) WITH A KNIFE, MARK EVEN LINE INDENTATIONS ON TOP OF THE CAKE AND CUT A 2 INCH WIDE COLUMN (2” IS ABOUT THE LENGTH OF YOUR PINKIE)

STEP ONE WITH A KNIFE, MARK EVEN LINE INDENTATIONS ON TOP OF THE CAKE AND CUT A 2 INCH WIDE COLUMN ( 2” IS ABOUT THE LENGTH OF YOUR PINKY FINGER )

2) SLICE ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM AND CATCH THE LARGE PIECE ONTO A PLATE

STEP TWO SLICE ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM AND CATCH THE LARGE PIECE ONTO A PLATE

3) CUT THE LARGE PIECE INTO EVEN SLICES AND PLATE EACH SLICE

STEP THREE CUT THE LARGE PIECE INTO EVEN SLICES AND PLATE EACH SLICE

4) CUT ANOTHER COLUMN AND FOLLOW STEPS 2 - 3

STEP FOUR CUT ANOTHER COLUMN AND FOLLOW STEPS 2 - 3

5) REPEAT STEPS 2 - 5 UNTIL THERE ARE NO MORE COLUMNS.  ENJOY!
